In Nat Meade’s first solo exhibition with Nosbaum Reding | Brussels, Shed: Works on Paper, the artist explores the fragile structures that shape our sense of belonging, memory, and transformation. The title evokes both the improvised shelter of the shed — a space of intimacy, accumulation, and familial connection — and the act of shedding, of letting go of inherited forms and ideas to make way for change.
Through works on paper, Meade embraces a more immediate and experimental process, allowing figures, narrative, and imageries to intertwine and evolve with spontaneity and openness.
